African Extracts Rooibos Advantage Daily Repair Facial Oil week 2 review

Here goes my two weeks review of African Extracts Rooibos Advantage Daily Repair Facial Oil.

This repair oil really seems like a wonderful product after two full weeks of use day & night before applying my moisturizer on top. I love the fact that it does not get greasy during the day or mess my clothing. It has a love scent of mixed oils namely : Jojoba Oil and delicate essential oils of Geranium, Rose, Lavender and Neem. The scent of this product is so calming and relaxing.

The rooibos advantage daily repair facial oil is said to reduce the appearance of dark spots while protecting your skin against environmental damage.
I must say I have blemishes on the sides of my forehead and dark marks left by pimples, so far I think my skin is still adjusting to this new product since it dried out beginning of week 2 but later became clearer of dry skin. I have not yet seen much of a difference during this 2 weeks but I am loving the product and trusting for better results. I have an oily skin.

I also love the fact that you can control the amount of drops to use on the skin which is made possible by the nozzle attached to lid.

It’s clear gold in colour
Oily in texture
30ml size bottle
R180.00 Dischem
it’s very light

African Extracts Rooibos Advantage Daily Repair Facial Oil
I received this product 2 weeks back Friday from Beauty Bulletin, I opened it up wow to my surprise was the African Extracts Rooibos Advantage Daily Repair Facial Oil.
It came in a red box with a bit of gold and the oil itself it’s in the clear bottle with a nozzle that helps me control the amount of oil needed of use.

The scent of mixed oils is so calming.
With this oil I’m hoping to remove dark marks on my skin left by pimples, uneven skin tone and blemishes.

It’s been 2 weeks already since I’ve been using it day & night, loving the journey so far it’s exciting! Not much changes as yet but hoping for the best results.

Yet another successful Mother’s Day high tea (empowerment social event)

13 May 2017 I hosted yet another successful Mother’s Day High tea , an empowerment women’s event.

We had speakers to feed the soul with few of the following topics;

  • My successful business story
  • Working mother & wife
  • Empower women
  • Women & fertility
  • Women & beauty
Guests were given time for Q&A after every topic.
Finger lunch was served with variety of tea & coffee.
Cakes were served to guests.
The following sponsors played a big role in making up our goodie bags and an event to be successful;
  1. Stucky Motors
  2. Palmer’s
  3. Catrice cosmetics
  4. Esse Probiotic Skincare
  5. True Love magazine
  6. Ndalo media – Destiny magazine
  7. Successful Woman magazine
  8. Joekels tea brand
The theme of the day was 50 Shades of Pink and boy oh boy did the ladies look stunning! Never seen so many shades of pink in one room blending in very well together.
It also wouldn’t have been a successful one without the beautiful EMPOWERED WOMEN themselves!
Empowered Women, Empower Women… this was the slogan for the event.

February was short yet busy for me…

The two past months have been hectic for me, in and out of town on the road.

Well, 22nd February had travelled to Richard’s bay KZN to shoot for a cooking show on 1KZN TV called Siyapheka with Dumi, if you know me by now you’d know kitchen is my favorite place in the house. It was quiet an experience having to shoot for two shows in a time slot allocated for one of which it was the first time they’ve done it. Were very impressed so was I. To air in April 2017 🙂

25th February had travelled to Jhb for the True Love Inspired event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton. What an experience as a blogger, a very well planned event I tell you.

On the panel we had celebrities like;

Dj Zinhle

Dineo Ranaka

Nonhle Thema

Thuli Thabethe (Isibaya)

Unathi Msengana who gave us an outstanding performance, I bowed.

The True Love team was there, met with the Editor Dudu Mvimbi a beautiful young black successful lady she is. Had a chat with her and she was so welcoming. Had a chat with other celebs as well, an eye opener to their stories shared with us.

The food was on point.

The Lancome wokshop was thee cherry on top, an exclusive Lancome foundation or Powder of which we had to choose between the two to a value of R699.99 each. On top of that True Love had goodie bags for the ladies after the event was finish. Joys of blogging 😛

I was inspired indeed, took noted with me & I shall use them wherever needed.

March 7, busy advertising a Mother’s Day High Tea event to take place on the 13th May 2017. Not an easy task especially to getsponsorship to make up goodie bags.

I shall upload pics once back online typong with my mobile phone at the moment 😀

2017 Challenging like that!

Smoothie freak!

IMG_20170201_103538.png

We all know what we take in shows from the outside of our bodies through our skin!

I haven’t been nice to myself lately but aiming to go back to my every second day smoothie routine which I had started IN 2015!

Smoothies are nutritious, cleansing and help at loosing that unwanted fat in our bodies. I love all kind of smoothies I must say not all of them are nice but have to go that route at some point. I’m on day three with smoothies trying to fight this body fat I put on my body during the holidays, soon I’ll be back on the road walking and jogging I just have to.

On the picture is all of my home made smoothies 🙂 the top left one won me a NutriBullet after entering a competition. Easy to make and you can carry them at work all you need is a blender and your jugs and you ready to go!

A meal replacement a day or two makes a lot of difference, try it the natural way 🙂

Just had one I made last night;

Ingredients: Chopped frozen spinach (raw), mango, kiwi fruit, pineapple & ice. Blend and drink, yummy and it fills up ones tummy and cleans that bowel very well hahahaha;)

I love smoothies & shakes, do you?

Hi beauties

A long break I took I must say only back today!!!! Still breathing

It has been a busy year already, having to prepare for a client’s wedding which took place on the 21st January 2017 and making I execute as requested is no child’s play but I managed to do so! Happy client Happy me :). December was so hectic too that is one busy month!

Apart from blogging I do platters, décor for almost all occasions and I cater as well while I run a B&B on daily basis and still need to blog which I love so much.

Hoping this year brings us joy, prosperity, good health and peace.

Our God is still the same and may he protect us from anything that wasn’t/ isn’t sent by him…

Much love

Hello December 2016

b88c9555b98f156d4fb5c0b808895c24

This is the last month of year 2016, December!

December is my favorite month because I was born in December :), sadly though it will be my very first xmas without my mother who passed on in September :(. 2016 You did me wrong, the cut is way too deep to be treated!

December 01 is also known as World Aids Day where we show unity in fighting against this killer called AIDS. We are urged to abstain, protect, educate and get educated about the decease itself to name a few. We are also urged to know our status by getting tested for HIV so we can take care of ourselves and our loved ones. AIDS has no age, no race & most importantly no mercy! Let’s put it to ourselves to change the world and change our ways, it can not control us let us control it.

A friend, loved one, colleague with AIDS is still my friend. Learn to treat each other the same and with respect WITHOUT DISCRIMINATING against! Knowledge is power & goes a long way…

It starts with you & me!

Wishing you beauties a blessed festive season, keep safe!
