I came across this article & thought it would be nice to share with other beauties re: multimasking. Have you ever heard of it or done it if so how did it help you kindly share.
Bizarre beauty trends come and go (who could forget the Kylie Jenner lip plumping phenomena), but those that really work, stick around.
This year’s biggest skincare trend, multimasking, exploded on Instagram and other social media in the last couple of weeks and has just about every beauty editor’s approval.
The perfect face mask would perform multiple functions – zap that blemish on your chin, hydrate the skin around your eyes, mattify your forehead, etc. But we all know that an all-in-one product like that doesn’t exist. So this sparked the idea: Why not use different masks on different areas of your face?
This means you can zap excess oil on your T-zone, while hydrating under your eyes, or treating blemishes on your cheeks. You can even throw fabric masks, nose strips and eye patches into the mix.
Why do we love it? Because it means you can customize your mask to work 100% for your skin’s concerns. You can target specific problems or areas, without taking a “one size fits all” approach. Genius, right?
