On the 7th May 2016 we(ZNZee Club) hosted a Mother’s day high tea event held at Siyaphumula B&B, organized by three young business ladies who came up with the name for their club ZNZee Club taken from their first letters of their names Zandi Mkhize, Nosipho Vukeka and Zandile Mkhulise. We aim and hope to organise functions that we normally travel out of Newcastle for which are mostly hosted in bigger cities hence women are limited on such functions here in our lovely town.
Initially we were to host 60 ladies our tickets got finished before the cut off date and we had more ladies who wished to attend so we had to stretch to 70 in total we had 80 guests including us hosts and our guests. We had motivational speakers to feed the soul like Lady Bishop Dlomo (Mrs.) from Greater Harvest Church International whose clip was play the following day on Gagasi fm Sunday Devotion slot she assured woman that they are special and good enough not forgetting to learn of letting go of the past since most women tend to blame themselves for problems that occur around them be it at home or relatinships, we also had Ms. Mpume Hlophe to nurture our souls she blew us away and also we had Mrs. Mamello Qametsi Vilana who tackled on what it means to be a woman, the rest of the clips recorder live at the event were aired on Monday the 9th May 2016.
We had invited Gagasi fm and they were represented by Lango Cele who is the producer of The Golden circle 9am-12:00 show who accompanied the presenter of the show Nomfundo Mzolo the dazzling one as known by listeners.
We had our local talented Nomalungelo Gama who blew us away by her voice and ask her mom to join her for a duet which was a surprise to us. Some ladies travelled from Johannesburg, Ladysmith & Nquthu. Their presence was heartfelt and this event wouldn’t have been a success if it weren’t for each and every individual who was present.
We also aim to promote our young talented local ladies and we invited them to exhibit: Iman Sokhela from Tapestry Accessories, Zandi Masondo from Za Vintage and Khanyi Ngcobo from Glambitious woman who did beauty tutorials and body evaluations. On the exhibitors table we also had books to empower ourselves.
The event was very successful even though the weather wasn’t on our side but the ladies managed to dress up and have a good time while warming up with a cup of tea & especially because it was our very first event that we have organised as a team it takes dedicating and commitment to make it happen and we are proud that we did not limit ourselves with the fear of being not known we kicked as many doors as possible for sponsorship and we are grateful to each and every sponsor who came through for us and believing in us.
We had mini treatments for the ladies in a form of pedicure, manicure and back and neck massage for all the women who attended they did not leave empty handed as we had prepared goodie bags for all of them which were made possible by our sponsors from different companies. Thank you to our sponsors for making up the goodie bag and make it as beautiful as it was.
Not only did we host this event to entertain the ladies or ourselves but also to give back to the community, we donated disposable nappies and formula to Home Meah which is a home for toddlers based in Newcastle.
We hope to host this event annually and that next year it will be better than this year and will have more sponsors as we doing it for the good course.

As promised herewith my full review for the Essence oil free make-up.
The packaging is very light for travelling purposes, comes in a tube making it so convenient for me to use, creamy liquid texture in 50 matt caramel and it’s 30ml. Lovely bright colors which are so eye catching and readable wording from the shelf.
I’ve always been a fan of liquid makeup, find it so easy to use and especially when it covers dark marks and acts as a full cover then it has my vote like this Essence makeup!
I chose the shade which blends well with my skin tone which is 50 matt caramel. This oil free makeup is said to last all day long of which I give thumbs up to because it delivers as advertised!
It’s an oil-free foundation for that flawless and radiant finish : mattifying
It covers imperfections without clogging the pored
it’s long lasting and moisturizing and dermatologically tested.
I am so loving this make up as it covers my dark mark perfectly, has never caused a skin irritation and it has a lovely scent. It does not drip and it’s not messy at all.
My skin is oily but works wonders for me… pic attached had applied LCN FLAWLESS PRIMER before actually applying the make-up itself.
It’s for keeps!!!
Very affordable and accessible, bought it from Clicks for less than R60.00.
